    I installed a system for my sister, and my niece would borrow the car [ her ol man would wire the sub in parallel and MAX the gain ! ] Burn't the feed wires to sub , charred and blackened ends that became brittle [ probably borrowed it 'All da Time' ].

    the sub and amp took the abuse just fine.

    You can do a setup like my friend did in his denali. 3 Soundqube 15's per box ported as you can see in the pic.

    That's a really nice setup. What kind of power is he feeding those with? Must be loud!
