500 and up. I think i can cross the 40mm mid at 350. But it is a small driver so to be safe most likely 500hz with those

Tonasty,
freq. range on 40mm mid is shown as ? [ double it for safety >>> make that high pass starting point . The volume determines the best possible crossover point >>> very low volume will work with a very low crossover point and conversely >>> if you "turn" it up , the crossover point will rise to "sound good" . ]
500 and up will do midrange easily !
I play A song I know very . . . very . . . very well [ Otis Redding - Sittin on the dock of the bay ] . slowly increase volume after dropping crossover point [ i.e. 350 Hz , high pass , 1rst , 2nd , 3rd , 4th order slope ] A Linkwitz/Riley slope @ 350 Hz would be a starting point and then modify according to what I "hear" .

You might try putting soft material in spaces around speakers , looks like 1/4 inch black foam could be cut to shape !

It is looking Great , So Far !
Did you get the subwoofer in it yet and if yes , how does it sound ? Does it go low enough ? Parts Express sells polyfil for under $10.00 for 16 ounces .
