Was Bill pretty excited? I think I hear my demo cd playing on the video ;)
How was the sound/output from these GTi's?
He was very excited/happy. The sound was pretty amazing with the new subs and hertz Mille mids installed... We really didn't push the subs to test their output, but the blend and response overall was amazing. It does need a little time alignment and fine tuning, but it was a very nice transition from the 8-10's he had and the Dayton mids.

It started as a spartan inspired build, but ended up looking like a spartan samurai transformer... It's open to interpretation...

Wow, that's some more serious routing skills from dave! Not only do I lack the skill, but don't really think I would have the patience to see a concept this complicated all the way through.....lol. how many hours did ya end up putting into this enlosure?
Re: 2012 FJ Cruiser "Spartan" build
Great build dude, I enjoyed the text updates along the way, haha.
I might have missed it what did you use for signal processing? I like the interchangeable top piece too.

I tried to track this build and I would right between 45-50 hrs including the final install of the amps, mids, and tweets yesterday... lots of time overall, but it is a pretty complex build to get everything to fit just right accounting for material thickness of the MDF/Trupan, various vinyls, painted inserts, the multiple angles on the enclosure, the crazy angles of the nose bridge, accommodating for excursion for the subs, clearance for the amps... ect, ect... it was nice to have a build that pushed me a little, yet allowed me to play! I was really happy with how I secured everything together and used factory mounting points to secure it to the FJ (forgot to take a picture of that).

Thanks Mark and I rarely see installs that are easily interchangeable... I think modular installs are the "next big thing", or they will be for me... and as for processing, he is using the P-99 as a head unit... I'll get the owner to post all the details of his equipment soon.

That's gotta be one of the coolest enclosures I've ever seen. Outstanding work as always!
Re: 2012 FJ Cruiser "Spartan" build
What a fantastic enclosure! The complexity and beauty is remarkable.

I just want to say, " I'm next " lol. :)
