Amp/DSP power distribution connections?
I have a Kenwood X801-5 amp and a Helix Mini DSP.
I'm trying to sort out the best way to connect power and ground for each. They'll both be mounted together in close proximity.
My power feed wire is 4 AWG, but am not sure how best to split that between feeding the amp and the DSP. The ground side feels more simple as I can run both to ring terminals that terminate at the same location.
Any insight or examples would be appreciated!

I am using that second one. Works well for distribution of both power and ground.

Re: Amp/DSP power distribution connections?
I prefer having one distribution block for power and another for ground rather than running all grounds to a central lug... makes it a bit more logical and cleaner in my opinion.

I'm using the Amazon one as well for a temp battery relocation. It does it's job well for $30.
Re: Amp/DSP power distribution connections?
You could also just run a small wire for ground and power from the DSP to the amp's ground and power. You don't have to have a distribution block for a low power device like a DSP.

Never skimp on the gauge powering your amp. Ive ran some 0 or 00 and loved it.

I'm pretty sure this is what I did too. Works great.
