Yes, i get what you're saying. If they got the delay right for the drivers setting you would measure almost no difference between single drivers anyway, so even then measuring almost makes no sense.
Tbh... would it be a better idea to check the input to the amp for the signals and integrate from there?

Do you need to verify DSP ?
Factory audio system has dedicated amp outputs for front midbass and mid/tweet (together) per door and a center channel. I'd like to verify if there's any time delay happening to make my life easier when I get to adding my own gear.

If you use a helix dsp mini/.3/ultra you get an input analyser and can then sum inputs to check they sum correctly and also add filters to correct the signal
Re: Is there a way to test/measure delay?
The recent Mosconi DSP-amps (Pico line) and the Aerospace standalone DSPs as well as the Mosconi ATOMO can do that, too.

That is interesting!

You could get the following things and test your HU output. It is basically building your own input analyzer. Like $30 in parts. Just make sure to calibrate your sound card and your rca attenuation device every time you adjust the knob on the attenuation device.
Level attenuation device to not go over 1v into your sound card

Rca to headphone to go into your soundcard

External soundcard so you don't fry your internal one.

Rca cables to connect everything and one rca -> Speaker wire if you are using hi level
