I posted this over at DIYMA. Looks exciting. That said I jumped on a used Director for the time being. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in with more info.
I spoke with a dealer today who explained it to me as an upgraded/more modern version of the URC but only for ACO products. They said they believed the price would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $200...
I'm still trying to hold out for the release of the AudioStage HEC also, but have lost faith that it will launch anytime soon
Maybe I should have waited. Probably a bunch of used Directors are gonna hit the classifieds. $200 isn't bad either, considering how most of this community loves to upgrade.
There isn't much info beyond that at this point. The software is pretty comprehensive so the setup should be quite thorough and solid.
Pricing guess above seems reasonable, although we have not seen cost yet. It is the Director knob as a size reference. Will need a 39.2mm hole for mounting and is 46mm across, but is quite shallow.
We are pretty excited about this as a new option.
