No output from rca jacks on hu

Hello all
I have a new Pioneer AVX 5800 hu.
Its installed in the middle console of a 1966 Chevelle. The issue is, I have NO output from the rca kacks on the back of the unit. New unit,cables etc.
I have checked continuity on all cables ...all good. All settings on the hu are correct. There is no option to disable internal amp. Plays cds and video fine just no rca output. I have not tried hooking up to high power outputs yet. I was hoping to solve this issue before trying that since I will have to undo all the wiring for the hu.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you say “all the settings on the HU are correct”, what exactly are those settings? What amp(s) are the RCAs connected to? What are the settings on the amp(s)? What type of speakers are connected to the amp(s)?

Is it possible you have a HP set on the HU and a LP set on the amp? If so, it’s possible it’s canceling out any input. More info is definitely needed to help solve the issue.
