‘73 Monte Carlo, stock 8-track, Pyramid “200 watt EQ”, with Infinity RS-1000 bookshelf speakers laying in the back seat.
My first car was a used 1976 Mustang II, similar to the one pictured, though I had it painted dark-bright teal. Mine had a white top and I put in black carpet and had the dash painted black to match. The rest of the interior was white.
The Coustic 380 was the first amp I purchased used from a friend of my brother. I had the very first Sony 10-disc changer as the source, later to be replaced with a Sony 5080 pull out CD deck. The 380 was bridged to run 2x Blaupunkt 8s. I purchased all this in 1990-91. Running highs, which were 2x Boston Acoustics 507 5x7" plates and 2x Pyle 4" sealed basket full-range, was a Majestic 100x100w running through KEF passive crossovers.
I called it the "Mutt" system, but boy did those 8s thump in a split chambered 3^3ft 3" ported enclosure! This was my humble beginning into the car audio world! I'll never forget the beaming smile I had when I listened to it for the first time! Lol!Attachment 7566

Thank you for making this promo at our forum, Notloudenuf! I think I'm too late to compete in this giveaway, but I am just wondering if this kit has a color changing light bulb? I am asking because I am thinking of replacing my regular bulbs inside of my car with the smart bulbs, so I will welcome any good suggestions on the color-changing light bulbs at an affordable price. Right now thinking about buying Vontos brand smart wifi bulbs, but I'm not sure if this will be the best option in my case. Thank you for your suggestions in advance!
