I almost take offense to that haha (jk). We are somewhat close to iasca in some areas agreed. Mostly in some of the tonality section. Almost nothing in common with MECA scoresheet wise. MECA is very, very vague with their scoring guidelines.
Where we really differ is in how we handle the technical side of things and try to put as much definition into a given score number. As a competitor it was almost frustrating to not know what the difference was between score X and score Y, even in a single category. It is very difficult to do though, given the nature of the content.
As far as music material goes, we have quite a list of tracks that are being worked on between a few people, with the goal of having a bit of variety while still trying to challenge the system in all areas.
