Those familiar with this classic Single-DIN head unit understand that it still holds its own as one of the absolute best in terms of pure, no-frills SQ.


It has very clean, high-voltage/low-impedance RCA pre-outs, along with optional Toslink Digital Output for the CD player with the optional XA-D210/D211 adapter. (AM/FM Tuner must use analog RCAs).

In the Blind "High End Head Unit Shootout" conducted by Captainobvious, the Sony CDX-C90 actually ended up being my #1 pick in the BLIND listening test out of all 8 of the head units that were tested.

The Rotary Remote is a very beautiful and solid, high-quality brushed aluminum remote control with internal LED lighting.


Just these rare Remote Controls usually sell for well over $100 EACH (if you can even find them), and the Wireless IR Remote is Necessary to access some of the custom functions and settings on the head unit.


If you also need the Sony XDA-210 / XDA-211 Digital Toslink Optical Adapter, I may have one available as well at an additional cost. I have an extra Sony CDX-828 10-Disc CD Changer with Optical Toslink Output available at an additional cost as well.
