miniDSP Umik-1 real world test (vs. NTI XL2 vs. Isemcon EMX-7150 & SC-1)
Not sure if this has been posted but here is a video of a direct comparison of these mics with surprising (for me at least results). Excellent video. No words, just measurements and results.

An isemcon is £250 and a umik-1 is £100, the isemcon can do so much more than the umik, smaart, in rew using loopback etc, and is also more accurate off axis due to its smaller capsule at higher freqs, one source with no reflections is not the best test to see what works well in a car
