Just found this helpful forum. I'm in the process of upgrading the stock awful stereo in my 07 Honda Jazz with an after market double din headunit. Have selected the Pioneer FH-S820DAB as at this stage I'm not worried about full android auto and touchscreen etc. This gives me DAB+, Bluetooth, CD, USB etc. etc. Has an app link to my android, so I can use google maps/waze for navigation and spotify.
I've completed the big 3 upgrades and I am in the process of stripping the interior so I can properly run my power, signal and speaker cables whilst at the same time apply some sound deadening.
I'll be running purely a front stage and have choosen the Focal Access 165AS due to mounting depth considerations. The doors will be fully sound deadened with something similar to dynamat and 2x speaker cable per door run through the grommets, the idea being I can use the crossovers to begin with then go fully active using a DSP at a later date without worrying about more cables.
Used 25mm thick MDF mounts and drilled and fitting threaded insert nuts to securly mount the speakers, and then modified the door trims to mount the tweeters.
I've choosen Audiotec-Fischer Helix G Four to run the front speakers, a Helix G Two in bridged mode for the JL CS110TG-TW3 Subwoofer and a Helix DSP Mini for future use.
