Looks like they built a scaled IEC baffle for speaker testing.
Re: Rockford Fosegate Fab Room and RND Facility
That's correct Erin. They did one for every speaker in their line up they also use that infinity to do real world testing of all speakers/woofers. They have quick change baffles/enclosures for it too. Their mic setup was sweet, it was on a swing arm to test all the typical response angles 0,15,30, ect... They klippel test/cert all their stuff too. I didn't know that prior to going.

Tony D'Amore showcased some of his wizardry.

Rockford has an amazing facility, it becomes clear quite quick how much engineering and testing goes into their products.

I loved all the actuated blast gates in the fab room! I must say, for anyone that wrote off Rockford Fosgate as a quality company, or a company that was concerned with sound quality... you out to rethink your thoughts... their speakers have more credible testing then many of the speakers most of us are in love with.
Re: Rockford Fosegate Fab Room and RND Facility
Ironically, I considered an all Rockford Fosgate build in the Ram. Purchased a set of their Power components (which sounded AMAZING during my testing).
The problem come in when attempting to inquire about which subwoofer to use. After contacting their tech team, it was very apparent that they were geared towards a, "Steve Meade" mentality. This was about two or three years ago though. Maybe they've shifted attention, but that pretty much ruined any interest I had in using their products. Sucked, because Rockford Fosgate was my gateway to good sound. Ran only their stuff for years back in the early to mid 2000s.
