Rush Limbaugh awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Having a dissenting voice is bad.

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed—if all records told the same tale—then the lie passed into history and became truth. ‘Who controls the past’ ran the Party slogan, ‘controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'” Goeroge Orwell- 1984

As his job is to be be provocative entertainer, then one can say he excelled at his job.
His job was not to be someone that brings people together, for some greater good.

So I am just not 100% sure that that qualifies him as a great citizen worthy of recognition.
If the goal was primarily to melt snowflakes, then the acknowledgement of his work was an overwhelming success.

I think it wasn't as much about honoring Rush, as it was about pissing off the other side... It worked! Lmao
Smart thinking. You could def be right. Why else would he do it during the state of the union. Man election night is going to be a blast

People love throwing those two words around. Racist and divisive. Funny thing is. Usually they're hypocrites and don't even know it.

Anybody remember George Wallace, governor of Alabama in the 60's, and the very famous role he played in the civil rights movement? What party did he belong to?
