Problems...

It's been brought to my attention that when some people are being directed by a search engine to CAJ, they are sometimes directed to file2store.info instead. Has anybody else run into this issue? Just to be on the safe side, I've decided to disable a few of the plugins until I can get it all sorted out.

let's see if we get it now that I've disabled a few things. I'm hoping that it's just an exploit in a certain plugin that can be weeded out.
 
Yeah, I've disabled all plugins except the chat box. I'm going to slowly start re-enabling them until I see the problem crop back up again

There are 2 versions of that plug-in, a 'lite' version and a 'pro' version. The lite version does most everything that we would want it to do, but every time you get a 'like' or 'thanks', you get a pop-up message saying something like "You just got 3 Likes", which I and several others find very annoying. The pro version allows the user to turn off the notifications box, so I originally bought a 1-year license. Since then, there have been several security updates, the license has expired, and I have one of two choices: either do the updated free 'lite' version, or buy the 'pro' version again. I just paid for web hosting and right now the coffers are empty.
 
Hmm, I can only edit selected posts with no apparent pattern. No biggie, it just means I'll have to think before I type. Oh, wait, that might be a problem...
 
I see what the problem was. I originally had the forum set up so that the 'classifieds' and 'events' forums could be edited beyond the standard 24hr cut-off. When I re-loaded the software last week, I forgot to re-load that plugin. It should work fine now.


While I was at it, I enabled a "Back to top" button in the upper right hand of each post...and in the 'events' forum, the first post will show at the top of every page.
