I got the matching carpet a few weeks ago but didn't get the car back until last night.
Today I worked on/completed the trim panel in front of the subs.
Getting the design figured out
Cutting it out

And finally covered and in place

I had a great time at Jason's NCSQ event this weekend. Gave a bunch of demos and got some good feedback.
I lost the right midbass at the end of the day and even had the whole front stage go out for a few seconds on the way home.
Sunday, I took the door panel off and checked the wires. "Well there's your problem"
the wires got pulled out of the terminals by the window
I extended the wires and then fixed them down with some deadener and I don't think I'll have anymore issues with that
This is the washed and gassed up ride on Friday night ready to go for Saturday

Very nice work. Those door woofer mounts bring back PTSD from my E46 installs. Such a pain to get them shaped just right... and then to mount them just right to fit the available space in the door cards.
Still love seeing BMW builds. Going to start an E30 sometime between now and 2040.
