Big Al's Garaj Mahal

Gonna be hard when all my friends are just internet pals. The trusses are 37 feet long with the overhang, 9 feet tall, and 137 pounds for the regular trusses and 217 pounds for the gable ends.. I know a crane truck or shooting boom forklift would make life easier, but it comes down to money.

Uh oh, shit just got real. We raised my big huge attic trusses with 4 people, we got 95% done in one day... had to use a crane by myself on the last 5%. Went MUCH faster with the crane, as you can imagine, but I only had to pay the three guys that helped me with some lunch and parting gifts.

Looks like a GTG at Al's when the walls get put up, straightened and braced, and we will slap those trusses up in an hour. We will have the roof under ply in a half day, tar paper by the end of the day...no problem!!!

Yeah, local places want like $450/day for a crane truck and you have to have a business account
