Altima Coupe SQ build

lowcel

Clueless
I purchased this car a couple of months ago with full intentions of keeping it pretty much stock and just using it for a daily driver and to carry my road bike. I guess my plans have somewhat changed since then.

I have lowered the car with Tein Street Advance Z coilovers and mounted 18” Niche Vosso M204 wheels. I’ve also had it tinted 5% all around with a strip on the windshield.

On the interior so far all I’ve done is installed a Kenwood DDX-9903S head unit and I’ve applied sound deadening to the doors, roof, and trunk areas. I still need to do the cabin floor. I’ve used a mix of Resonix tiles (amazing stuff) and Sound Barrier MX4 along with some Stinger that I had laying around.

Not much progress this weekend but I did get the power wire ran through the firewall. I was really dreading this job.

The only place I could find to run it was in a tight little area behind the driver’s side strut tower. I could barely get my hand back there.

I had to cut through the rubber grommet from the inside of the vehicle. I could get any leverage to cut from the engine bay.

Most of the components will be delivered today. Hopefully I will be able to make some progress next weekend.

Just adding these so I will have them in the same place.

Well I had hoped to get more done than I did this weekend but that didn’t work out. I spent most of my weekend doing an install in a Honda Element.

Anyway, this is what I did and I hate it. The factory positive terminal has a built in fuse / distribution block so I had to keep it. Later on down the road I will have to figure something out. I can’t live with this long term.

Here’s the factory crap that I had to keep.

Weather was pretty nice today so I decided to build some sail panels.

Pics don’t show it but I used SMD SunFlash resin to fill in the holes prior to using bondo.
