Original upholstery material was stripped down from pillars. Pillars were sanded, drilled a bunch of holes in and covered in three layers of rowing/mat and trimmed.

Great to see you posting your latest work, your fab is always top notch.

I'm curious if you spent much time with aiming and and placement. Well that's a dumb statement I know you would have done due diligence on everything but there's been a lot of chatter about tweeter placement and side window reflections just wondering what artifacts you may have noticed.

No need to spoil the surprise, but I'm almost fearful of what you're going to build for door panels on this one.

Thanhks for nice comments to both of you!
To be honest I didnt had mauch other options regarding positioning and aiming due to space restrictions. First option was of course vertical aligment as always, but unfortunately undoable in my case. I struggled with 3 focal mid and TBE in friends AR GT and hardly managed to set them in vertical aligment,...in my case with 4" mid and huge tweeter it wasnt possible. I just payed attention to height of the stage, width and I tryed to avoid cluster hump as much as possible, everything else will be BIG surprise when I start to tune:snap::snap::hmm::dunno:.... but it is a long way in frront of me before this will happen.
The doors will remain the same - will reuse them from previous car - both cars share the same doorpanels...lucky me, lol, but will post pics of the fabrication anyways, so build thread is somehow complete with all pics of fabrication, and for those who are not familiar with my previous install to understand why I opted for exact design of pillars.

I just want to say fantastic craftsmanship and the only thing that bothers me is you are too far away to build mine. :)

That tweeter was a fav of mine growing up. Beautiful craftsmanship.

Thank you for your comment Avidedtr!
We tested this tweeters against a lot of top tier tweeters like Morel Supremo, Picollo, Brax, Microprecision-7, JBL C660 GTI, Pioneer ODR, .... and those JBL TC25 stood out, really only comparable to them was Pioneer ODR set. I love them, and I have a spare pair in the closet :D:peace:

Thank you,.... If I have lived closer to you, I would be glad to fab set for you!..... it would be doable if I would have acces to the same car as you have, but shipping would be somewhere in 100-150USD....

As promised, here are the pics of doorpanel build... those doors were fabricated for previous car, but since they fit to newer car I will reuse them since they perform very good. The panels were made for two pairs of JBL C660 GTI midbass drivers. Approx volume is 20 litre. They were made in a manner that I can retune them or convert them to sealed with ease......onto the pics:

first I started with template for speaker baffle
