given all the rectifiers on the board it's certainly power supply and what is on the sink is likely all regulation.

Far left is a 7915 which is a negative 15V regulator, third is a 7805 which is a positive 5V regulator and two larger ones are PNP power transistors and could be driven by smaller regulator components, they maybe the as end of a high current regulation of some sorts. Most common amp sections will have a PNP and a NPN transistor... also a LOT more support components.

The power amp section is buried deeper.

Older Skool.... After a rebuild... HH Scott 299C, a weird one, really weird one that was built between production runs of the 299C and 299D. You cannot find schematics for this without grafting the schematics of the 299 and 229.

Nice Chad!........and thanks for the info on the denon. Maybe the amp section is mounted in the aluminum channel that the fan is blowing down? I'm not gonna disassemble it again anytime soon, so a guess is all I can offer. Since you didn't spot it in the pics, that must be where its at........once again though that fan is sooooo quiet, in years of ownership, I never even suspected it was there!
