Now for an amp from a manufacturer that has a long history of producing massive amounts of power but in recent years has been looked at with some apprehension.
Orion XTR3700.1D Amplifier. Orion really needs to update their site since the recent buyout, seeing as everything they currently list is either out of production or being replaced.
Chanels 1 Class D RMS Power Rating 4 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan
2 ohms: 2500 watts x 1 chan
1 ohms: 3700 watts x 1 chanTHD at Rated Power 0.5% Dimensions 9-5/16"D x 19-7/16"L x 2-1/2"H

Overall I have to say if this is what a current Orion Class D mono amp can do I want to see what their Class A/B 2 and 4 channels can do.

A 30% increase in wattage just by upping the input voltage by 1.8V! That's definitely not a regulated PSM.

You got that right, it's also something that's very inspiring to see from a brand that has seemingly been on a large downturn for the past decade.
I love the old school Orions, though never owned one myself. Let's hope these new models have good quality and no reliability issues.

It's been a while since I posted anything so...

Never really been a Memphis Audio fan but I have to say this looks like a solid amp.

A couple of pages back Fric said he'd like to see one for his Phoenix Gold Ti1600.5, sadly PASMAG hasn't reviewed it but they did review the Ti2 800.1. Let's see what kind of amp PG is putting their name on these days.

I wonder if that's the same board that's in my 1600.5. Can't imagine it would be much different.
Sent from my Springfield XD with love!
Isn't yours the previous gen Ti? Those were hybrid Class A/B and D (channels 1-4 were Class A/B and the sub channel was Class D) so the sub section is probably the same.
