This or the ZR-800? Which would you choose?
Cost vs Performance? ZR800.
The only pros I see with the AD over the JL is smaller mounting depth and higher sensitivity. But the JL has more linear excursion and is cheaper (but also no longer made so there’s that).

I have 2 sets of the ZRs but there are a few pairs of the NEOs on sale right now. I'll stick with the ZRs.
If you're looking for an idea for testing. I'd really like to see a peerless SLS driver tested. Cheap and did really good on the diyma tests awhile back.
I'm not the best at interpreting everything, but for all the praise the Neo has gotten and the high price, I'm pretty underwhelmed by these results.
I think he might be referring to the manufacturer's claim of 19 mm Xmax actually measuring about 5.5 mm Xmax, putting them squarely in the high priced but nothing special category. Those of us that were drooling over these because of the Xmax AND reviews mentioning great SQ are sorely disappointed, and looking elsewhere.
I like mine a lot... but didn't pay full retail, so... there's that.
