Replaced the old Cerwin Vega's with Elac Debut 2.0 F5.2 towers and sound is leaps and bounds cleaner. I think my next step will be one of these to really hammer them into place. The Audyssey in the Denon does a good job getting them more listenable with the room correction it can do and am quite honestly pretty happy with the sound but my ears are still used to a flattened eq curve shaped just so.

They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

I'm almost afraid to admit it, but I am currently using a Yamaha HTIB. It sounds not too bad but lacks almost everything, considering the system is almost 10 years old. The home setup could definitely use some work. This thread has me thinking. ca90ss's computer system would put my living room to shame. Lol.
I've been pretty happy with them for what I use them for. Depending on your listening habits they may be a little small to use as main speakers in a larger room. Last I checked they were down to $899 on Amazon and I haven't heard anything yet in that price range that I would rather have.
