sorry, either way should be ok with your power
You'll probably find that a lot of folks have amps that could overpower their speakers, going by the speaker and amp ratings. In reality, an amplifier playing music isn't going to be making its rated power very often, if ever, as long as the gains are set appropriately.
Guys if I'm understanding the audiocontrol DQ-61 that I have is not really a true dsp as others are, I think it's to fix the issue with my factory head unit. Would I have been better off replacing my factory head unit and getting a better dsp? I do know that when I added the DQ-61 it did gave life to my system. I went this route because I thought it would be easier then finding a HU that has everything my factory HU has, like steering controls, XM radio.....
Do U envisage a stage when you play music?
Do U care about who is standing where?
Do U like being told what to do ?
If it is loud and clear > Rock Out !
Viewing Smilies , you trying to access privileged system?¤Somewhere 0ut There¤}]
If sub is 4 ohm svc , might try wiring them in parallel, all positives together and all negatives together (more OOMPH, Hit !)

Yes. Music really moves me!
I tear up when I hear what I call very good music with lots of energy.
The next question depends. If there's safe words in place....
On a serious note, when it's coming from sound advice with means to betterment, then YES.
The upgrades I have done is ALOT clearer then before. But I still hear imperfection. I feel it's alot to do with frequencies not set right. So crossover points maybe. I just have the passive crossover that came with the component set and high pass switch on the 4 channel amp. I'm sure the EQ could use some professional tweaking. It's definitely loud just not as clear as I think it could be.
