Are all the fuses ok on the amp itself? I've had a few of those Pioneer GM amps, and the only time one gave a similar issue, was me having it wired incorrectly and beating on the thing a bit much. Think I had it wired down to 0.75 ohms, and popped the fuse. Swapped subs, replaced the fuse, and continued to rock the amp for over a year more. Those GM amps are generally pretty solid. Is there any chance of wires shorting out somewhere? Either at the speaker terminals on the amplifier, or the enclosure connections?
