What are you going to use those adapter plugs for?
What are you going to use those adapter plugs for?
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.
I kinda failed on relaying information about those, huh?
The FiX 82 has high level (speaker wire) inputs, with two RCA outputs. The Symbilink adapters I purchased, also have high level inputs. Not the typical RCA outputs most have. Easy solution, using those RCA adapters on the Symbilink adapters.

Started on an underseat mount for the FiX 82 and Symbilink adapters:
Couldn't ask for a much better fit:
But ummm... ever had a duh huh moment? Measured, and measured, and measured... to make sure it had room under the driver's seat. But never dawned on me to put the seat back into position and remeasure. Of course, not until it was all together.
After a bit of trimming, we have the sides down where they need to be now:
Should get most of the wiring uninstalled this week, in order to work on the new harness and connections.

Had some time yesterday afternoon to work on the car a bit. Went from this:
To this:
Started pulling all the previous wires in order to go back and clean everything up:
Also removed the OSHA approved safety coating from the Symbilink cables:
Took some time to study the trunk, making sure this super idea I had would work, and of course... what looks good on paper, or in your head, doesn't always work so great in reality. There are a lot of little nooks and curves and such in the corners back there:
Sooooo... had to go with a different plan. Will be simpler, easier to fabricate, and have a higher chance of completion in time for the April meet
These beauties look pretty good together though:
Are you not entertained?!?!
Keep it up man. Making progress!
