    Bookshelf Speaker 3way build

This is the build log for the L/R bookshelf speakers I am making for my computer. Details are below.

    - Replacing Dayton Audio B625 6.5" 2-way bookshelf speakers

    DIY 3-way sub/mid/tweet using...
    - Tang Band 28-847SD Neodymium Soft Dome Tweeter
    - Dayton Audio DC130B-8 5-1/4" Classic Woofer Speaker
    - Dayton Audio SD215A-88 8" DVC Subwoofer
    - 3-Way Crossover Board 8 Ohm 250/4000 Hz

    powered by...
    - Lepai LP7498E 200W Class D Stero Amplifier with Bluetooth aptX and Power Supply

Design influence is a snowman. Construction will utilize stacked MDF and internal chamfering.

You must have huge bookshelves, Bob! Those are going to sound awesome.

Will there be separate chambers for the midrange and bass?

Thanks Oliver. All 3 drivers will have separate sealed chambers with the recommended airspace requirements.

I need to do something like this, I have those 8" Visaton woofers from the meet that you left here that I want to put into some speakers for my office. Likely with the RS75-4 that I currently use as mids and not sure on the tweeters yet. My biggest headache is figuring out a crossover for it all!! Ultimately I want my son to put them together, figured it would be a neat project for him.

    Saw these today:

    3-Way Crossover Board 8 Ohm 250/4000 Hz

Thinking about grabbing a pair too for a little stereo setup in my son's room.
    Are you not entertained?!?!
