This is the fun of cars. I'm in my doors re-running wires so I can have a final bundle to pass by the IB wall, so I can finish the IB wall. Go figure.

The ring is holding up. Can't stand this install but for now sticking with the plan. Stay on target.

Little SB17 mid holding up ok. I do have TM65 dreams though. Along with re-doing a ring-through-doorcard setup similar to Jason's BRZ.

    Right side not so good.
    HDPE ordered.

Just cleaning up.. In case anyone was ever wondering "hmm should I just cut some MDF door rings? Yeah I'll just spray them with bedliner"...

Here's what your MDF rings will do in one year or not even a year of door exposure.

Literally just could tear them apart. It turns to mush and crap. Just say no. Back up and walk away slowly from that MDF aisle at Home Depot.

Mdf in a door is a terrible idea........I've had the same decay happen to a set of rings myself......doesent take long, even when painted/coated.......this made me switch to plastic years ago. I like restaurant supply houses for their 1" hdp oversized cutting boards....

Yep I just ordered a slab of 12x24, 1" thick. Got my plunge base rollin and my game face on. Nick sent midbass drivers so when they get here I'll lay calipers to their cutout diameters and git r done.

Amazing day the other day. Sold some tweets, swapped an amp and basically I've found myself with two sets of those SI mids. So I sure hope they're all that and a bucket of chicken I've been reading. We shall see. I imagine they'll spank the SB Acoustics mids that were in there from 80-300.

Hey, not to mention the fun of slinging chips with the router vs dust!

Yeah I noticed that when I did the 1/4" PVC rings. Funny sight seeing a guy on the pavement driveway with a vacuum cleaner so the dogs didn't eat all the plastic.
