Info:
As most of you know, I occasionally buy used 5/5.5 generation iPods and rebuild them with a higher capacity storage drive of some sort. I choose the 5/5.5 gens due to them using the Wolfson DAC which is more sought after by audiophile types (that said, when using it connected via USB, it doesn't matter).
Up for sale here is a 5.5 gen iPod classic upgraded to 256gb internal memory with an SDXC card. Condition is haggard (see pictures), but it works just fine. I've been using it off and on for the past few months.
Six-Month Warranty:
I've built and sold about 25 of these over the past year so I have a lot of experience with various issues that arise. Anywhere from old batteries to bad logic boards. At this point, I've seen it all. For peace of mind I offer a six-month warranty on these. Any issues you have with it (other than issues caused by neglect like a cracked screen), I'll take care of for free within this time period. So, you can buy with confidence. Outside the six-month warranty window, I'll fix any issues you may have sans cost of parts. For example, if your battery goes caput in a year or your logic board dies I'll fix it for cost of parts/shipping. Additionally, if you ever desire to upgrade to a larger capacity drive, I'll do that for cost of parts/shipping as well.
Condition:
6/10. The face has numerous scratches on the bottom right quarter but the screen and click wheel are fine.
Comes with a brand new battery installed.
Also ships with iPod 30-pin USB cable.
Price:
I usually ask about $325 for these but need money to offset new tires on my wife's car so I'd take $280 shipped, CONUS.
