Bobby K's 2014 Silverado LT
Sooo, I guess since I have almost acquired all of the pieces, I should probably show my machine, outline my goals, try some cool new things, and try to stay motivated during this build. Here are some pics of my first innocent victim. His name is Striker.
He is a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT. He is equipped with a 4.3L V-6 engine, all power, including the sliding rear window, 20" KMC XD Menace rims in gloss black, and 35" Nitto Trail Grappler tires. He also has an 8" stock HU touchscreen with My Link, voice command, steering wheel controls, and a back up camera. He currently has 35k miles and has been a decent truck for me.

Re: Bobby K's 2014 Silverado LT
Here are my goals for this install, build log, and system. Since all of this is a first for me, and I have dived in whole heartedly, I first and foremost would like to not be divorced by the time this is finished! As far as the install/build log, I hope it is somewhat entertaining for the rest of you to look at and see my interpretation of how I incorporate ideas from all of your installs into mine, whether it is info you have provided, techniques you have used, or copies/variations of pieces of your own systems. This may end up looking like a Frankensystem of all CAJ members. Please take this as flattery and not thievery! Also, since I have heard a total of 1 SQ system in my lifetime, I certainly hope my system will function as intended and not embarrass me too bad when I do have the chance to meet all of you!
I hope to look back on this build log after I have done others, and marvel at how far I have come, and what I have learned. I've reread some of my first posts in the general discussion area, and I laugh at how much I've learned already from lurking and asking questions to you guys and gals that are open and willing to help me along. I appreciate everything, and I hope to give back to the next person that comes here looking for the same guidance.
Physically, here are some things I hope to do for this install: Fiberglass a-pillars, fiberglass kick panels, fiberglass a sub box, build door pods, mount DSP remotes and amp knobs to look factory, build amp/DSP rack, big 3 upgrade, sound deaden, and figure out how to fuse and wire the system without frying anything... I'm certain I will be adding/subtracting as I go along, such as ipad, iphone docks, lighting, plexiglass, etc.
Any and all suggestions/comments/jeering/heckling etc. is welcomed/appreciated and will be met with like ammunition!

You posted a pic of the equipment you have, but it's hard to tell what some of it is. How about giving us a list of what you have to make it easier.
