My plan is to build the router into a table like this with my table saw.
Found a little woodworking shop up the road with all kinds of plates and lifts etc and enough bits and templates to keep me broke for a long long time. And it's right across from the office. Makes it super efficient to effectively blow all my money. Definitely a tool toy store. But fascinating a drop in router plate is less than many of the high-end bits behind the glass. Gonna try to get in on a class for shits and giggles. A little 'sharpen the saw' time for me.
Couple of years before mine can get out there with me. Hope he enjoys the hobby as well.
That is one well thought out workstation! I would kill for that kind of room to work!
As soon as craftsman replaces my rip fence that was broken in the box I can build this.
Started on mine today. Hopefully make some good progress this week.
Day 2. Got the tablesaw framed in. All I have to do is level it and install the T-Tracks for the rip fence.
Good work korn......I need one if these badly.....lol.
May buy a router plate this weekend. It is going to rain monday so I won't be able to work on it till wednesday. I was wanting to have it done then, but I don't think that will happen.
