    What's your setup.

What are you guys running at home. I'll get the ball rolling with an old pic of what my setup looked like when I still lived at home.

Turntable: Sansui SR-717 with AudioTechnica AT90E eliptical cart
    AMP/Receiver: Sansui QRX5500A Quadraphonic Receiver
    CDP: Shure D6000E
    Speakers: AR9LSi's

I'll post a more recent pick tonight.

    Re: What's your setup.

Still trying to secure a center channel, but home theater is:

    Denon AVR-3803
    Yamaha NS-8390 towers as fronts
    Yamaha NS-A738 as rears
    Yamaha YST-SW315 as subwoofer

    Easy listening consists of:

    iPad as source unit
    Pioneer SA-6500ii amplifier
    Pioneer SA-9500 Equalizer
    Bose 601 Series II

Also have a Pioneer SX-838 receiver, Advent Laureate towers, and an older Pioneer 5.1 receiver with 25 disc changer

Not even going to talk about the Kenwood separates... they stay quietly hidden away
    Are you not entertained?!?!

    Re: What's your setup.

My equipment list for home/office consists of:

    Rotel RB-1080 power amp
    Rotel RB-1070 power amp
Rotel RC-995 pre-amp(should be in next week)
    Sansui AU-517 Integrated
    Klipsch sf-2 towers
    Klipsch rw-12 sub
    2x Burson ha-160ds headphones amp
    2x Senn's HD-650
    AudioEngine A5 computer monitor
    And other little gadgets...

My plan is to run active the klipsch towers, but i'm currently running them of my 1080 with my dac as a preamp. Problem is that the dac output is really low amd will clip quickly so ive got the preamp that should solve this. Next will be room treatment.

<==is too ashamed to show what I have.

My room really sucks for audio, so see no reason to go all out. Which means I only use it for movies.

    Re: What's your setup.

I loves me some Onkyo stuff, I have an Integra P304 preamp that I will never ever part with.... Only reason I am not using it now is because the Shure takes care of everything in one stop (with a lot of work in a custom panel) and I wanted to reduce gain stages.

Recently bought a couple 2ch receivers for replacements at work... solid still.....

That's a sweet set up you got there.

I'll try and get some current pics up tonight. I also have a new piece of equipment that I have to find a home for (either in the basement system or the living room system) a Sony DA555ES. I set it up upstairs last night to power my Polk Monitor 7C's after a couple minutes of Earth, Wind, and Fire I'm convinced that I got quite a steal for $30. Now to see if it can outperform the Sansui 9090DB I have currently powering the AR9LSi's .
