    BMW 520d Door Panel Help!

Hi guys, I am experiencing some trouble with my car. I own a BMW E60 520d 2009 and in the process of installing a new sound system (will post some pictures for you all later on this forum) I have some experience with audio installs but not a pro by any means. I cannot figure out how to remove the door panel from my car and wanted some advise on how to do so, where the screws are located, etc. I tried to remove one of the "wooden" panels but I think the internal pin broke, so I stop trying (I thought there might be some screws holding the door panel underneath it so I tried to remove it) Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards.

First off welcome aboard, always nice to see new member join up and get right down to business.

As for the how to remove your door panel without damaging it, I think this installation PDF from Bavarian Sound Works might help out.

Not sure if this will help... BMW_Speakers_Install__BSW_Stage_1__E60_Sedan_Logic7.pdf

If nothing else, ask jowens500. He might be able to point you in the right direction.

    ...and welcome aboard

Re: BMW 520d Door Panel Help!

First door done! Thanks for all the help! just some sound deadening to the panel and couple of hours fiddling with the mid... damm BM engineers they created the most non-standard door ever, nothing fits! did it at the end, will post pictures on a new thread for comments and advise. Fronts are MBQuarts QSD 210 nothing outstanding (compared to Morels or Utopias, etc) but they have one of the most beautiful crossovers ever!.

    Cheers.
