    Stock deadener...

For the first time ever I don't work on a Saturday so I decided to put the Murder Mat I have to use. Put a couple sheets in the trunk lid with no issues. Now what I ran into when I went to deaden the doors is what to do with the stock stuff. There is a very thin layer of rubber adhered to the door from the factory.
What should I do about it? From my research the point of deadening the doors is to seal it off but there are some pretty big holes that are covered up by the stock stuff. I don't have the time or resources today to try and seal up the holes nicely.
Here's what I've come up with for options:
    1. Remove stock deadener, add murder mat around holes, re-adhere stock stuff
    2. Put murder mat over stock stuff
    3. Leave doors alone completely
    4. Remove stock deadener, deaden over big holes
    5. Remove stock deadener, deaden around holes

    What is my best option?

Remove stock stuff, murder mat inside the outer skin, seal access holes behind stock stuff, then reapply stock stuff.

Nice speaker choices by the way. Those Pioneers can sound amazing with just minimal tuning.

Why thank you, I love them so far. Get nice and loud in addition to super clear, soft done tweets were a great choice by Pioneer.

No doubt. I installed the 6x8 of those in my dad's F150 and talked a coworker into them also. GREAT speakers for sure.

Yep got 6.5s in the front doors and 6x8s in the rears, never expected my sound stage to come alive like it did with the speakers, amp, and a little deadener
