so... this came in today! technically yesterday, but i wasn't at home to sign for it.





i'm still debating on which mids to go with, and what amp to purchase to add more channels to the system. i'm sticking with the ion line, so my options are the high powered 4 channel, the 2 channel, or another 5 channel. thinking the 5 channel might be a fun choice, with one of them bridged to midbass, the other one running tweeters/mids, and each one powering either a single voice coil, or add another sub and have each sub powered by separate amp.

lol, i still have to order rca's for it. i did find a really good spot for it, i'll post pictures when i get back from vacation

not quite yet, i'm looking towards adding a 3" or 4" mid to them. i haven't decided on what yet though, might try a HAT L3v2 or L4, or might just go raw drivers for the mid. as-is, i really like the imagine midbass and the tweeter isn't half bad either. i'd just like to get the majority of content up on the dash since i have so much available space for it

those, a couple different dayton models, the HAT L3v2/L4, the sb acoustics mid that matches the arc black mid, and the tang band bamboos are all on my list of potential candidates right now also still considering some morel point sources as well

well, here's the proposed next step for the fit!




pair of dc360.4's, a dc500.1 and a drc-sl.

got a few things going on the next couple months but hopefully these will be in by fall. some here saw them sitting in my hatch when daniel picked them up at the meet and i was waffling over picking them up, but he made an offer that i couldn't refuse, so here we are. just need to fully figure out the symbilink setup and get some new wire runs to the hatch for 'em, and decide on a place to throw the drc oh, and change that hideous green too.
