Great sounding unit but crappy UI. What do you plan on controlling it with?
Not sure what to control it with I know the Android app was recently updated so I may try it with my phone. The one thing I love about my w505 is how well the iPod controls work. Seems like with the GS9 I could load up my phone or some other storage with music and just navigate it with my phone.

thinking back- you are one luck dude.
You won the secondskin pack with tons of goodies, and now you have won a Sony GS9
That really helps with the Budget system theme!

This should be fun! Hopefully I should have some time this weekend to work on the car.

    Re: Psyko's 2007 Mustang

Managed to get some stuff done today!

I started by switching the Alpine w505 over to RCAs to give me source control on the rux-c800

Next, Jon and I cut up a dash kit to mount the Alpine and Sony radio together. I may end up making a braket to replace this but this will work for now.

I need to find a place to mount the rux, relocate the factory buttons, and make a dash bezel to clean everything up.

So far I'm impressed with the Sony, but I'm not ready to give up all the features that the Alpine offers. I'm going to try some hi-res files on the Sony and see how that works
