I never could stand Roy Moore. He's the judge who refused to remove the 10 Commandments from his courthouse, and when gay marriage became legal, he told his underlings to refuse gay marriage licences...it eventually got him disbarred. While I agree with the underlying principles of his actions, I always knew that he was just pandering to his constituents and using as a platform for future elections. He ran for governor and lost, now he wants to be senator...and I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to run for President some day. If the allegations are true, I hope they throw the book at him...but I question the timing. It's VERY convenient for the Dems that these allegations come out at the 11th hour, a time in which he can't really be replaced before the polls open.
