Won't happen. Trump won the needed Electoral Votes. It's petty bullshit like this that makes me embarrassed to be considered a Millennial.

    Re: Politics

I feel sorry for the poor Hillary voters.

Many of them were participating in their first election, some had their partisan blinders on, others were simply following protocol, following their pop star idol suggestions, and the intentional bias of the MSM, whose thumb on the scale permeated so deeply into the fauna of political life, that you couldn't turn a spade in any of the 50 states where taint had not been before, where an overwrought sense of correctness wasn't applied for months, a daily lathering.

Those poor souls, thought they were winners, thought that they had backed their horse and with the overwhelming poll stats, the constant derision heaped upon the elephant in the nightly talk shows, or in concert where otherwise apolitical musical greatness stooped to stump for their first lady, now heir apparent and touting respectable even as she slid into a morass of email sludge, it was only ankle deep, no way was it not gonna happen, no way was history not being made, the makings of the greatest upset or landslide, or whatever, hung on all those partisan pundit's bobblehead breath, like clockwork if you went along with the media portrayals.

The poor diehards didn't let on, the size of Trump's crowds never were explicitly discussed, like why is he getting all those people to come out to the rallies? Why would a democratic machine not tally the difference, not make public some concerns, if not outright concessions, if just to be prudent? You know, in case it were to be closer than those wildly wrong predictors, every poll out there slaughtered on their petards, made a mockery of by statisticians across the globe...

and that's where I lose patience with those choke artists, Hillary notwithstanding as if she were irrelevant, the day was carried by a hitherto unknown voting bloc, so it would seem.

And those people who had it, you know, done deal, counting all those chickens, young people who saw free college and student loan abatement and public works where young people were basically given what was previously required to earn, dreams of Bernie dancing in their heads, his hoarse cries of socialism where young people actually matter, where the Occupy people and the BLM peeps and the gay parade, do midnight dances in the streets as their horse came in...

    didn't happen.

I can see how that might completely flabbergast those not quite mature minds, the grasping at straw men, throwing their hail mary passes of electoral votes gone awol, like that wouldn't be a monkey wrench in the democratic process, their not fully understanding the premise of backing a losing horse, indicative of the sort of insular expectation that participation trophy winners understand so well, flummoxed to the reality that there is no do-over, the country had to elect a narcissist on steroids, to avoid a Hillary presidency.

That's the awful reality, there was more support for the type-A personality complete with insecurities, probable diagnoses in DSM chapters, coupled with silver spoon elitism from his earliest steps. Hillary might have been better equipped to drive the presidency vehicle, having seen how it was done first-hand, and at least we wouldn't have had to worry about sexual misconduct in the oval office, save for Bill's surveys into the intern crowd of hopefuls, which would probably be expected by this point from his past, past.

How those poor people gather now in protests, not aware enough of the political process that they think something good will come from showing their displeasure, like we'll abandon the democratic process just because, as if marching on the sidewalk in front of Trump Tower creates a discourse, a venue where something other than what will happen, somehow materializes in the mist. This is not righteous indignation at someone's folly, there's no scapegoat guilty party, no precedent or even an error in the whole campaign-vote-elected timeline, it's just cry baby histrionics coming from all sectors of our unduly full of it, social media stars and their deluded following.

That there are so many of them, does not prove anything. There is no equation that solves for nanny state unknowns, the answers are hard, the truth is unrelenting.

    This was on Facebook

Dear Hollywoodcelebrities, You exist for my entertainment. Some of you are great eye candy. Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that you bring tears to my eyes. Some of you can scare the crap out of me. Others make me laugh. But you all have one thing in common, you only have a place in my world to entertain me. That’s it. You make your living pretending to be someone else. Playing dress up like a 6 year old. You livein a make believe world in front of a camera. And often when you are away from one too. Your entire existence depends on my patronage. I’ll crank the organ grinder; you dance. I don’t really care where you stand on issues. Honestly, your stance matters far less to me than that of my neighbor. You see, you aren’t real. I turn off my TV or shut down my computer and you cease to exist in my world. Once I am done with you, I can put you back in your little box until I want you to entertain me again. I don’t care that you don't like Mr.Trump. But I bet you looked cute saying it. Get back into your bubble. I’ll let you know when I’m in the mood for something blue and shiny. And I'm also supposed to care that you will leave this great country if Trump becomes president? Ha. Please don't forget to close the door behind you. We'd like to reserve your seat for someone who loves this country and really wants to be here. Make me laugh, or cry. Scare me. But realize that the only words of yours that matter are scripted. I might agree with some of you from time to time, but it doesn’t matter. In my world, you exist solely for my entertainment. So, shut your pie hole and dance.

    Re: Politics

so, I'm puzzled by something I have been seeing used to race bait those who supported the now president-elect. That the Don, when in his high-class, self-made, Trump of them all, narcissist-on-blast mode, would make these ridiculously charged comments, that he as a business person had every right to espouse, some insipid liberal lackey lifts it wholesale and plops it into the political arena as if they were not two different metrics, two different yardsticks, two different flying birds.

Now, I don't care that much for the guy since it's likely he still has some of that ol' Reefer Madness propaganda swimming into his late night, and still has trouble believing that this country wants to get high, high. Which means, (by my reckoning) that state-derivative pot legislation is in mortal danger, once his first whacks at curtailing the gay marriage by way of conservative SCOTUS, leaves him pondering what else he should "fix," but let's put that out of our minds for a moment.

I can see how when he says "build the wall" a cringe comes into play for many who know an illegal or two, who may be nice people and hard working, just here to better the lives of their families, send money back home, etc. and how anyone who would make it harder for illegals to cross the border must be racist, or at least not like Mexicans that much...

but that's just a superficial, love your neighbor kind of thing, it does not advance money to the overburdened state economies that feed, educate, and heal illegals while they ship out sweat equity to their relatives across the border.

The damage being done is real, the budgets that are annually taxed to breaking points and beyond, running deficits as a normal course, these are not "paper tiger" kind of debits, it's money that would make it possible for health care to cost less, it's money that is being wasted, if you realize that after Jose makes his 5 years, his good years, he goes back home and retires. He's no longer an asset of any kind to this country.

Why do I think that is what the majority of worker illegals are doing, well... that's what they tell me.

But the point is, I'm not running for political office. I can say these things and they may well be racist to some, xenophobic to others, or misogynist to still more, and it doesn't matter.

IF I decide tomorrow that I'll run for an office then people going back to when I was just a shmuck to gather their sticks and stones, are being dishonest to the reality that I would be an unknown quantity as a political animus.

It's fair I guess, to attempt to paint me as a racist and if the public can't cut the mustard, and must be led by the nose like the herd mentality that liberal elitists suppose is necessary, then we get something other than truth going on.

This election cycle, the people saw what was being force-fed to them by the corrupt media and those horrible Hillary ads, and they weren't buying it. That's what I think has the liberals so charged, it's not that they actually lost, it's that the public rejected their lies and still came out for the Donald, even when history was waiting for them, even as they shuttered their own truth-detection devices, or simply pinched their noses so they couldn't smell the bullshit they were pumping out by ten to one on our airwaves.

That is where the histrionics, these social media darlings in tears, lashing out blindly with hashtags that are treasonous to democracy, subversion at their core, that is where it comes from, it's being caught in lies and all the "she's not perfect, but" excuse-mongering couldn't salvage their democrat train that had been running 24/7 for the last 8 years, from running completely off the rails.
