I don't have an issue with a female as president, just not that one.
Our government is broken, and imo, she represents everything that's wrong with it.

I have wondered from day one how this seemingly unremarkable woman had such a push from the party she represents......does it stem from the perceived success of her husband's career? Upon review of her own political career, it seems to be nothing but a short list of minor accomplishments......none either long pursued, nor complicated in their application.....even the rare tout ad, vs the way more common muck slinging, appears to be lacking in any real content....I don't get it....

    I'm glad.

I'm glad in the sense that you, someone I respect as having a rather well-developed sense of right and wrong, would present no qualms in a woman handling presidential duties and tasks.

I do have a bit of that, where my feminism surfaces and wants to set some precedent that would allow women to finally hurdle the income-deficit earnings power and in most industry, be rewarded for work that was equal to anyone's.

I however, do not have that innate coupling of a presidency win, and automatic fairness, result.

If we use the racism argument, the bullet points that are expressed when, our having a black man win, is then used as our metric I don't see what I want, even coming close. I would like to see it, but the country didn't magically untie those knots, black men still hold slave currency and wield it at every turn from their mouthpieces.

Certainly, I don't expect the entirety of black America to stand shoulder to shoulder with Al Sharpton, but enough do, and BLM is blatant, er...

    well, what I jest.

    I jest!

what is the female equivalent. Cleopatra was an accomplished fellatio artist? Hillary...

    Oh no...

and isn't that half of it?

I have to play devil's advocate and state that any achievements awarded to a woman, probably represent some padding of the numbers, some sandbagging, some slanted math to give the appearance of a hard-won victory, but with Hillary, what is there?

Does the "experience" so often touted, actually amount to anything credibly worthwhile?

And don't throw up the straw man argumentative of "what have you done? what is remarkable about anything you attempted/ put at risk, etc.?" and go that route.

As Sec of State, didn't she drop the ball repeatedly?

Why would we want such a mediocre attempt after being handed the post as a consolation prize, future grooming from the Democratic Party internals, to ready her for Presidency status, didn't she really fall flat on her face as SoS?

Shouldn't that have been the end of it? If she couldn't make remarkable progress in a time when any improvement could have been heralded, and instead was slapped silly for standing down against a rag-tag team of nothingness, why didn't that cull her from the stakes?

    I don't get it either.

    Re: Politics

One of the best political posts I've seen on Facebook conveys my sentiment precisely: "I'm more concerned about what Hillary has done than what Trump has said"

I'm not against a female prez...I would vote for Condaleeza Rice if she ran

Besides, she'd be the first black president

    Re: Politics

I couldn't vote for her either after the shadiness surrounding 9-11.

Government is too big and they are too locked in and comfortable. I also think the electoral voting system is a sham. Every vote should count and the candidate with the most overall votes should be elected.

    Re: Politics

Condoleezza would have the right instincts, but she's already stepped out or was shown out, not sure which. For whatever reason, and my assumption is that she is simply too much of a level head, and does not possess the necessary hard-wired narcissism to scale the various obstacles to the presidential prerunner status.

Hillary is just too much of a dumping ground for old progressive ideals, she will sell anything. I happen to like the pie-in-sky stuff myself, not enough to believe that the country could afford it, or that the deficit is simply a bogus boogeyman, not applicable in terms that affect our ability to remain at the top, which it appears the average democrat enjoys even if they use the old "Clinton had it balanced" argument, as if that was a democratic prime objective and not hard won by Republicans in Congress.

Rose-colored glasses, not enough caution, tagging on ol' Bernie's ideas of socialism cum laude, as if she'd simply scoop up those poor kids' votes, certainly they won't turn to anyone who says they have to earn a college degree?

Anyways, it's nice to help myself to some "think aloud" space, here in the basement's basement, since come November we'll discharge all those volts cramped up in this capacitor stack, and reset our profundity clocks to observe an optimistic optics no matter who is at the helm of the ship.

That's what I do, I get behind whoever wins, no matter what. OR, I should admit to simply clearing the slate, and waiting for the mediocrity.

I go at odds with a lot of people who didn't like Obama from start to finish, because I have to admit that I'm not as conservative as I would like, I'm not as stable either, haha...

but that is proof of proof, looking out while looking in.

When you get to here, you can see there and you can see not there, it's a gift I guess....
