Someone couldn't decide on which size t tap to use. So they used them all.........on the same wire. The red wire on the right is after I soldered the new remote start power wire. That was after removing two t taps off of it.
I won't even use trailer wire taps on a trailer. I've seen and tracked way too many wiring issues down to those things. People who use them should have their nuts kicked. My way might take extra wire and effort but I bet you don't have to touch it again unless a light goes out (for real).
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

Damn, that truck with the wires everywhere in the drivers footwell...That's a frigging death trap. Get your foot caught up in some wiring while trying to exit the freeway? Dayum!
