You would be shocked at what some people do. Most of the SPL heavy hitters figured out the caps didn't do anything for them by the end of the first year, so they disconnected them but left them mounted - probably for sales.

Most of the SPL heavy hitters use bad ass Maxwell super caps that absolutely give them an advantage. Any one with a bestbuy style voltage meter cap isnt a heavy hitter in anything! Just sayin...
