    The power wire is fused at least.

    This is what the vehicle is in for. He says I got my own alarm, can you put it in for me? I should've said no............

    I don't mind COG stuff, but prefer it be new. It took me about an hour to unfuckup this.


    After the hours worth of unfuckup work was done.

    Wait, im serious. Whats wrong with hooking straight to the alternator. Before I upgraded the power system in my truck I was dropping to nearly 10volts. I switched the wire back to the pos. terminal on the alt and only lost voltage down to around 12.5volts. Without an amp draw I normally charge at like 14.8.

    It would not make a difference electrically as long as the cable going to the battery can handle the load.

    I would use the storage container [battery], if the car were running connecting to the alternator seems plausible.

    I'm not sure how that would work with the vehicle turned off [ direct current might not flow in more than one direction (i.e. from the battery backwards through the alternator ]
