    Quick explanation of the process

I get many questions asking me to "print" things as well as requests for multi-color decals. Maybe this will clear up some confusion as to what kind of gear I am working with. Think of this machine as a precision controlled CNC Xacto knife.

First I have to make an outline of the image with a hairline trace to act as the cutting path.

Then I load the vinyl into the cutter.

    Here is the cutter running.

I then remove the cut decal from the roll of vinyl and have this to work with.

Now I start a process called weeding, which is removing the excess vinyl...lots of waste as you can see.

    Completely weeded.

Now I cut the paper backing to a more manageable size and add a clear or translucent transfer paper on top.

Then I cut the whole thing down to size and it's ready to use.

Now all you need to do is peel the transfer paper, which takes the vinyl decal along with it and stick on whatever you want to be a new level of awesome.
