But it does not do a motor-face dance when you eject a CD.

I'm batting about .800 for successful CD eject events. Did the display ever go solid white on you? It's done it to me maybe 5 times now, it's fine after a reboot.

Yeah... IIRC it was the face connector... It also tends to only do it when you are rocking the fuck out and it tends to stay rocking the fuck out till you remove the face and reset it because the faceplate goes tits up....

That's why you have it.. did it on "datenight" wife was not impressed, neither was the county cop.

CD eject... clean the rollers.. IIRC I sent you a service manual no?

yessir, on CD. It hasn't been enough of an issue for me to tear into it. 95% of the time it's on iPod or Tuner anyhow. I've had Tool's Dissectional in there for months.

One sail just about sanded, needs another thin coat then I was just gonna paint em in rubberized rocker guard. And I cut up an old floor mat from the car to temporarily cover the gaping kickpanel holes.

I have a DVD changer for that reason ..... so I won't overuse the face flip eject
