    MB Quart MB Quart ZA2-1000.4

    I recently purchased an MB Quart ZA2-1000.4.... It has two x-overs one for channels 1&2 and one for channels 3&4. It is also bridgeable. My question is can i use the lowpass x-over for channels 1&2 and bridge them, to run a 12" sub. Then use the highpass x-over for channels 3&4 and leave them unbridged to run two 6x9'S. Or do they all need to be Bridged.. Or all need to be unbridged. Thx in advance for any help...

    You are trying to run it in 3 channel mode. This is perfectly ok to do.
    This is best shown on page 2 of the manual in the picture marked "4ch - Mixed Mono"

    If I wire it like this would it be enough or to much power for a Pioneer TSW311D4 12" Subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils. Max power handling: 400 watts RMS (200 watts RMS per coil) / peak power handling: 1,400 watts.. Im not looking to thump the neighborhood, Just want my system to sound really good in the vehicle without burning something up, If it thumps the neighborhood, well then "bonus"

    Good choice on sub !
    https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...TS-W311D4.html

    Fs = 43 Hz ( tune to that )

    Series wiring equals 8 ohm load amp sees and parallel wiring equals 2 ohm load amp sees.

    2 ohm will cause more current to flow thru amp , thus causing more heat.

    Usually a bridged amp can only handle 4 ohms minimal , so 8 ohms is what I'd reccomend.

    Yup 4 ohms bridged.
    https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...-RA1000.4.html

    As ohms double to 8 , watts gets cut in half for output to sub

    @ 2 OHMS YOU'LL get 500 watts ( perfect ) and it has a subsonic filter , you will need one with a ported box.
