Great! I will stick with the Dayton then.

I have found that its not even worth trying to EQ until the crossovers are rock solid. Spend as much time as you can getting the acoustic crossovers to line up as close as possible. Crossovers alone can sound better than a combination of crossovers and EQ done impropely. Trust me, get the crossovers perfect then try just 3-4 filters of EQ.
Ok, I am going to save my current dsp settings and start from scratch again, just focusing on the crossovers for now. I spent a good bit of time playing with it on the first go around, but I need to experiment further and try different things. I am trying to use REW to predict the response as I change the crossovers.

Thanks! I will do that this evening. Im attending a tech fair all day but free in a few hours.
Here are the driver and passenger mids with the filters bypassed and the crossovers at 100-17k, oh and the volume turned up this time.
I see an acoustic crossover between 2500-4500 so I was thinking of doing a low pass filter there.
The low end is fine until 150 hz so I figure I can high pass anywhere for the mids. Maybe 300 or 350 for the GB60. There is a peak at 350hz.
I'm just trying to sort the mids out now since they are the worst.

Thanks!
I will play around with this too and see what I can improve with my novice skills.
In your picture above, you have a lot of q values above 5 (a lot of 10's and only one below 5). My goal is to try to be under a q of 5 at max.
Here is what I did:
High pass at 350hz. This is protects the driver and the gb60 is plenty capable of playing up to that without any beaming issues. This also gets close to the Schroder/transition frequency of vehicles.
Low pass at 3500hz. This is starting to get into the bad beaming issues for a 2.5". See pictures below
I used 6 filters, all with q's less than 5.
The low side of this could potentially be cleaned up a little more if you want to use one of your remaining 4 fiilters.

That is a work of art! Thanks for the images. So the beaming becomes apparent around 3600 hertz for the 2.5. That brings up some interesting questions wrt tweeters.
