Yeah I'm not sure about harming the charger...all I can say is I've had it on for 2-3 days straight with nary a hiccup.

So remember when I said like 3 months ago that I'd have the cab off "this weekend"? Yeah, well that didn't happen...but it finally has. The removal mechanism involved a tree, which worked great. The procedure was quite a bit more complicated than it needed to be (lol), so I won't go into the details. Suffice it to say that I got the cab off, with a lot of help from my dad.

I'm near the UConn area. I like living here but yeah...I could do without the rust.

I spent today working on my outback's brakes. The rear rotors were way past safe and I think they were original (150k). One of the slide pins on the front left caliper was seized and I couldn't get it out. Best part is that I was the last one to do the front brakes. I guess I forgot to lube that slide pin, genius that I am.

I have more updates, but they're not very exciting. Mostly just old frame stripping and new frame painting. I'll post pictures, but first...here's some videos.

C/N: First video I hit old frame with hammer because. Watch in HD to see rust chunks in vivid detail. Second video is graphic detail of old frame rot. Third video is new frame.

edit: the frame is softer than balsa would anyways, lol.
