is no set date for this yet, but I'm sure it will be in March/April.

The location will be at Todd's(Highly) in NW Okc.

From when the first person shows to when the last person leaves.

I decided(with a little help) to start this thread as there seems to be a fair amount of interest in it. There should be more than enough fantastic systems to demo, people to make fun of, I mean talk to and test equipment to make your head spin. Of course, I'll update this thread as needed. This will also be on Erin's g2g site soon.

So Big Question? I have the phorum set to send messages instantly on posts to the thread, yet I can expect to get an update about one of every 5 posts. I'm not what you'd call a computer noob but what can I do to remedy that little issue? I don't squat in the thread so I rely on those to tell me I've something to be attentive to. Apologies for delayed responses.

I'll do some checking on my end. Is it possible that it's getting cut by a spam filter? Taylor Fade was saying it's being blocked at work as being a gaming site. Maybe you could set up a filter to send all messages from CAJ to a specific box

been a while since I have messed with net filters at all. but when I did, it seemed that some would flag over some of the advertisements on a board. not sure that is still happening

Well...email is Google and some of them get through. I got one from Jason's post, but not yours for instance. <shrugs>

The BBQ plan: 12# of pork and 12# of brisket. That's a 1/2 lb for 48 people. That oughta do it... ya think?

It's just the way vBulletin works. Same thing happens on every vBulletin based forum I'm on. It will tell you there is a response once, but not on every single reply, until you log in, then it "resets". I don't know if there is a way to turn that off or not however.

Ain't that the truth! BBQ is food of the Gods. Brisket with a good mustard and vinegar sauce and I'm in Heaven. Now my mouth is watering for some bbq from a couple places here in town. Dad is a bbq snob and it's been passed down to me.
