Didnt work out quite as planned. The pods fit the pillars perfectly however I could not get the pillar back in as the bottom of the pod hit the dash so I trimmed them off since I'm just using chambered tweeters. Once I got the pillar to go in I found the pods are not aimed as stated (6" in front of headunit at center and slightly upward) rather they are actually pointed at the top center of the headunit and slightly downward. I'm going to send the pics to the maker to see what he says and will report back.

Ordered a set of carpeted floor mats and they sent me a set for a 4 door truck. No problem, turns out a little Velcro and some zip ties will make these perfect under dash panels.

The maker of the speaker pods said these may be an earlier design that changed however no reply beyond that so I'm gonna have to reserve judgment until I get the new version if in fact that happens. Meantime I'm just gonna use my Japanese version Alpine DLX-F30T ring radiators with their surface mount pods on top of the dash.

・It is 3.0cm component toe eater, DLX-F30T of Alpine.
・I adopt coexistence "異径 dual voice coil" structure by the early start at the high level and wide middle level range reproduction. フラッグシップモデルにふさわしくリング振動板を常に安定して再生するバックキャビティ構造などソフトドー ムの自然なしなやかさと、ホーンツィーターの応答性をあわせ持った革新的な構造のツィーターとなっています 。
・"The aluminum Lunt spacer" which enables certain installation. I fit the body suddenly and play a role as the stable base. The slant installation at the time of the setup is enabled, too.
・The back cavity structure that can keep a fixed atmospheric pressure of the rear of the vibration board.
    ・Maximum input 120W, rating input 40W.

    Specifications
    A form: Component toe eater
Specifications unit: 3.0cm dual emission type tweeter
    Reproduction frequency band: 3.5kHz - 60kHz
Input biggest at a moment: 120W
    Rating input: 40W
An output sound pressure level: 89dB/W, m
    Impedance: 4 Ω
    Weight: 0.2 kg *2
