    That's the exact speakers I have in my truck except the went with the kicker 6.5 components in the front doors. Everything else is exactly what he has. I don't recall if he has a amp pushing the corner dash.

    I hope I'm not driving y'all insane with all the questions. So would a powered crossover solve issues with the 3.5s and can you learn me more about what you said about a band pass on the midbass. Also would the components be the midbass? And what would I do with the tweeters paired with the components? Put them on active crossover? Thanks a million for all y'all time and effort.

    Bandpass means using a highpass and a lowpass crossover, allowing a certain band of frequencies to be played. For midbass, most people will use a highpass around 80 Hz, and a lowpass anywhere between 250 to 500 hz, depending on the capabilities of the speakers you are using.

    If you use the coax in the dash, you wouldn't really need the tweeters from the component set.
